Pushy bunny, too.
1 October 2007 20:43I mentioned that sistaur's cat seemed to be a pushycat. I visited again this weekend and the cat wasn't quite as pushy. Maybe I was less inviting. But I found out that the bunny can get pushy too. I was eating, or rather I was trying to eat, some raisins. I very soon had Wanda (Wanda Wabbit) in my face about them. There was no dissuading Wanda, either. As far she was concerned, all raisins belonged to her, or ought to.
I knew that large herbivores could get pushy about sweet treats. I knew one fellow who said a horse of his, if he could speak, would have said something like, "What are you doing eating my apple!?" for example. I hadn't really expected this roughly cat-sized herbivore to get that pushy.
Wanda did get a couple -- just a couple -- raisins, but I ate most of them. Standing up, keeping the raisins out of rabbit reach. I couldn't sit down again in peace until I'd washed the raisin smell off of my hands.
