It looks like all the votes, save one that the voter suggested be changed to an option I specifically omitted, were for "divided by." I'd noticed that sometimes I'd hear "divided into" and I figured that was something generational as I have generally heard that from sources older than I am.
The only exceptions to "divided by" showed up in the comments as aedifica said that "divided by" and "divided into" were valid answers,
altivo brought up "gazinta" which is a form of "divided into."
Special Delivery
28 August 2006 15:30Orvan is a delivery... ox. So he needs stuff to deliver and folks to deliver that stuff to. I have a few ideas for both already, but it never hurts to have more. The ideal item to deliver is fairly small, inexpensive, and provides some amusement to the recipient - or at least doesn't anger or upset the recipient. I expect Orvan to show up at MFF and RCFM.
Poll: Going nuclear
15 July 2006 22:40In August 1945 the only two nuclear bombs used in warfare were exploded. Since then there have been many nuclear explosions and many wars and battles, but the two have not combined again. There have been close calls, but so far the world has been fairly lucky.

Poll: Description Time
7 July 2006 17:00It sounds rather egotistical to say, "So, tell me about myself." so I won't say that. Or at least I won't say that and expect any serious responses. Have fun!

I'm not sure the first question was meant to be as it is or if it was to be just one or the other. Anyway, here are a couple definitions that might help. Hopefully they are the intended ones.
Transcendent: existing outside of or not in accordance with nature, outside of normal experience.
Teleological: directed toward a definite end, designed.

Poll: Tasty Camera?
19 May 2006 13:30"Tasty Camera" sounds like the title of some Japanese almost-animated cartoon, doesn't it?

Poll: Cheery Query
16 May 2006 10:45Surprise! I haven't forgotten. There's even a couple questions for something later this week or early next week.

Another screwy poll.
10 April 2006 13:25For the first question, here is a definition of zaftig. I'm not sure zaftig has degrees, but someone suggested it as a poll subject, so here it is. Also, the person at the keyboard is 5 foot 6 inches and weighs, at the moment, about 180 lbs.
Ask a centaur.
31 March 2006 11:35What would you ask a centaur? Not any particular centaur, just sort of centaurs in general.
Taking a couple results from the Good vs. Evil poll and combining them as they seem to fit together...
