Currently running...

OS - Win2k

TeraTerm - ssh to thebrain for mail & news.
mIRC - WTnet: #Warnercafe, #Centaur, #unixgeek, the odd query window.
Windows Explorer - Some things are just done easier in a file manager.
TextPad - Tabbed text editing, with context highlighting and stuff.
Audacity - so I can go from tape (yes, tape) to mp3.
Opera - Web browsing, on my terms.
IrfanView - image viewing.

Bellkin Bulldog - UPS monitor
Week Scheduler - simple timer/reminder

Which systems? If you mean the 3 I'm sitting in front of:

yakko (the iMac): Safari (nice fast web browser that works and isn't M$IE), Journalert (LJ client that also tells me when friends post updates)

minerva (the SGI): 3 telnet sessions to thebrain, Netscape 4.51, MXaudio (MP3 player), zircon (IRC client, usually dormant), telnet session to buttons (my Linux VCC system, with several associated X windows open)

wakko (the PowerBook): Safari, Journalert (it's set to autostart), RealPlayer One (to watch Ranma 1/2 videos).

Then there are the systems I'm not sitting in front of; running right now are thebrain, buttons, pip, mrdirector, and ralph. mrdirector, being the RS/6000 with the 390 processor installed, can be running stuff on two OSes, as can buttons, since it's running an instance of Hercules...

elfie/xyzzy - IRC server, login server, homedir server
basement/akane - mail server, DNS, a wad of disk space available over NFS
tailwag - X (running 12 Eterms, 2 with screens to elfie and basement, one of those running an EPIC4 for IRC), mozilla, xmms, logjam and anything else I need to run. More disk space. Makes for a great way to run xscreensaver, too
sabrina (laptop) - container for Windows XP, tho it's gotten a job handling anicotti the iPod
melody - scratch box/file server. Can run FreeBSD, Linux, MS-DOS and Windows
haste - mips-ee development environment. Recently ran Activision Anthology and Ratchet & Clank
okkay, leloni - old HP9000 and Sun IPX not currently running. okkay makes a great desk for sabrina; leloni serves as a phone stand for the Nortel Meridian phone
krystal - SGI Indigo2 (if it ever gets shipped from a certain BMW-riding warner in CT :o) ... because everyone needs a beautiful, mysterious box around the house

Audacity, huh? I may be able to use that. I have a few tapes I'd like to put into mp3 format. I'm sure I have a tape deck around here somewhere... if not, I guess I can buy one... they're hopefully cheap these days.
