I brought a set of pan horns to work today and put them on for a few minutes this morning. Carefully arranging my hair, I managed to hide the twine that held them in place. I then went to few different folks and said that I didn't think much of the hype some folks seem to have about today's date, "after all, it's not as if anything really unusual happens" and see if they had any reaction. I got a few smiles and a couple chuckles.
And then that was enough of that after a few minutes. If someone wants to consider a really beastly June 6, it was in 1944. XM channel 4, which normally plays music from the 1940s (and 1930s) had some D-Day broadcasts which I found quite interesting on the drive to work. The tone was quite intense.
