vakkotaur: (kick)

There was a meeting over lunch today, and in attempt to compensate people for this, pizza was provided. Or something resembling pizza was, anyway.

"Green Mill" claims to be "the most awarded pizza in Minnesota" and right now I'm wondering if a significant portion of those prizes were like the Razzies. It was probably about as good as Pizza Hut, which is damning with faint praise, but that isn't what really annoyed me.

It's that the "thin crust" pizzas had a very thick crust. I can only wonder, if that was the thin crust, what do you get if you order thick crust? A loaf of bread with a bit of pizza topping on it, perhaps? There was one exception, the plain cheese was a genuinely thin crust. If this situation arises from a false belief that a thick crust is required to hold anything more than cheese and tomato sauce, someone needs to learn how to make a pizza. Either put that much topping on the crust, or make a true thin crust and use it.

As it was, I wound up eating one small piece, then just eating the toppings off another couple pieces. I threw away a couple pieces of bread that the alleged toppings almost hid.
