A couple odd items

The results of the Washington D.C. primary, which is apparently meaningless, are interesting. Not because of who won or even placed or showed. What is amusing is that there were some (not major candidates though) who came in with fewer votes than Vermin Supreme. Also interesting is that Vermin got, last I looked, 144 votes. Fittingly, a gross for the name Vermin. One has to wonder, was this low level election/reporting tampering for the humor, or is it just Reality sticking its tongue out again?

I went to the grocery store last night and set out to find some thuringer (similar to, but much better than, summer sausage). I eventually found it. It had a big, obvious orange sticker proclaiming "ALL BEEF" which is in disagreement with the smaller print on the ingredients label, which starts out, "Beef, Pork, ..."
