Gad, how tired was I when I made this? "...ought to apologies to donkeys" rather than apologize and the poll name... well that at least makes some sense though not as much as intended. And I suppose I did leave out the option for "Huh?" or "Who?"
I find it interesting how every right wing person in America is going to decry this and say "he shouldn't be President if he says things like this!" etc. But, has everyone so quickly forgotten Bush not realizing that microphones transmit sound?!? when he leans over to Cheney and says that such and such a reporter is a "major asshole", to which Cheney responds "big time!" Pretty much the same thing here, and I can remember it getting lots of airplay during the tail end of the campaign (when it happened) and in the opening months of his presidency - until 9/11 which had a way of making such trivialities seem more ... trivial.
Regardless of your political stance, one's probably more likely to agree with who Obama thinks is an asshole than Bush.
BTW, there really should have been an option: "The most fortunate in this is Joe Biden because for once it's not him that's speaking before thinking."
I dunno, I can agree with Bush, Cheney, and Obama on their opinion of some truly obvious jerks.
And yes, for once it wasn't a Bidenism, though does seem a rare true non-partisan (non)issue. Biden seems to put his foot in it in a rather partisan way.
