Out of Altoids. Need more. How'd I run out of peppermint, cinnamon, wintergreen, and spearmint all at once? (Yes, I know ginger also exists, but I have yet to find a local supply.)

...and citrus sours...

How's this for an advertising line:

"Tired of mints? Try these and prepare to pucker up, baby!"

Given their advertising, I'm surprised they haven't come up with it...

I've tried the sours, of both types, and found the tins don't seal well enough as they absorb moisture from the air and get all sticky. And I just like the "mints" better.

You can get the ginger ones here.

Just anywhere, or is there a specific place (or set of places) to be looking?

it's hit and miss. They used to carry them at the deli across the street from school but they've been sold out for a bit now.

Correct.

I've found just the same thing. Within 24 hours of opening a tin of sours, they form a big congealed lump. And quite a bit of force is needed to remove each one from the whole. This also seems to be off-putting to quite a few folks who I've offered one to from time to time. I also recall other sweets in similar tins having the same problem.
