I wouldn't rule it out (although I wouldn't want it for anyone, not even Bush or Harper), and I commented to my wife yesterday "You know, everyone compares him to Kennedy, and/or Lincoln, and/or Dr. King. Are these people really thinking that through?"
He set it up himself for the Lincoln comparisons, the seeming worship does suggest Kennedy. But those that are concerned about his actions hope he's only like another Clinton(!) and fear he may be another Carter. I did see one person who hoped for a Roosevelt (I assume Franklin rather than the, to me, more preferable Theodore) and alas I can see that happening: succeeding a President blamed for economic ills and then getting years of adulation for doing the same thing as his predecessor, only in even bigger ways, managing to make the problem last even longer.
I don't foresee prosecution or resignation, the Democrats will have control of Congress for the next four years no matter how bad things get, and they don't feed on their own.
My prediction is that New Deal II will be a failure after China decides to stop buying US Treasuries to fund it. That'll cause inflation and even further tanking of the economy, demoralizing the Democratic base and (hopefully) energizing and educating the Republican leadership just enough to win the next election.
Polls cannot be edited (or folks could chaneg the options after there votes and forge apparent results) and the first question had the options maxed out as it is.
The same lying liberal media will do its best once again to make sure the Anointed Obamessiah is once again elected, and will once again succeed in deluding the American public.
That's what's scaring me the most. We've gone from a media that's willing to leak information to al Qaida to make the old president look bad, to one that won't say an unpleasant word about the new president (unless it's to protest a tax cut or some other vaguely-conservative promise he's made). TWO columnists on my local newspaper made New Years resolutions to stop criticizing the president. We need a free press, not a propaganda department.
