A few polls back there were a few options "get snockered" in celebration of or to drown sorrows (don't those things swim?) about the election results. Folks should hopefully be recovered by now if they did that. I won't ask if you really did or not. And the individual votes will not be public, unless you care to comment. Why comment? Perhaps you have a libation of choice to extol, or care to explain the "other" option.

Not quite snockered , but my husband and I indulged in Martinelli's sparkling cider. Yum!

Anything I could get my grubby paws on, to drown the despair.

Okkay, I must ask, how do you mix a Stone Pony? Or is that the name of a place or chain?

Actually, it's the name of a band. But the beverage is easy to make:

Take
1 part apple juice
2 drops LSD
1 drop Mescaline

Mix well, imbibe, find bliss. =};-3

I've come to absolutely hate the domestic (OK, to be fair, the "big three" mass-produced) beers, thanks to 2 years in Germany where they make great beer and my own laziness contributing to not finding good local beer.

I've always loved mixed drinks, even though they could really screw me up if I'm not careful. Fortunately, I've been careful. :o)

I have tried the "American Ale" that Budweiser has been advertising (it was on tap in a place I was at a few weeks back) and it might just do. I think it outclasses the usual American macrobrews, at least. The smaller, regional brewers can be (are hardly guaranteed to be) better. They will often something in the typical macrobrew style and some other items that you might find more appealing. Right now the Oktoberfests (also called Marzen as they are started in March) are available. If you like the darker stuff you might look for Shiner Black Lager or Harviestouns' Old Engine Oil. For lighter fare, consider bocks and wheat beers.

Usually I get hammered with sake. Or rather, I choose sake when I'm aiming to get hammered. That sounds more accurate.

Sorrows don't float. They cling to hopes like panicky drowning victims and drag them under =p
That's why I carry a harpoon gun!
