Connection back.

It would be nice if the Internet Service Provider would, when changing things, make sure that when all the re-routing is done that all the paths are rebuilt.
At 6:00 AM I woke up to find no connection, but all local equipment seeming to check out. Rebooted the firewall and power-cycled the DSL modem to be sure. No change. Called ISP, was told there were and had been no outages. Power-cycled the DSL modem again. No change. Was finally told they'd send someone to see what the problem was. Gave them a couple phone numbers and waited for a call.
A few minutes ago I got a call, asking if the connection was working again. I checked. It was. And then I was told that there had been some routing changes but not all the paths had been rebuilt (their words). At least everything seems to be back now and nobody has to come out.
