Hi folks! Orvan here again. I'm starting to work on the ACME web site when there aren't that many deliveries and realized it ought to have a FAQ. I'm not privy to all the things ACME gets asked and whoever does have that information seems to always be out of the office or something. So I'm asking you folks what questions ACME would get asked. I figure you might have more than one question a piece, so the poll has a few entries. If you only have one question, that's fine. You will not be identified (unless you want to be, but you'll have to tell me that) in the FAQ.
Ask ACME:

ACME is even giving me a part of the site as a sort of "Meet the people of ACME" thing. I only recall one question that I am frequently asked, and I'll certainly be addressing that one. But one question does not make for much of a FAQ, and so here's another poll if there's anything you'd like ask me. Again, I won't identify you unless you specifically ask to be identified. That reminds me, I'll need to make sure to post ACME's privacy policy.
Ask Orvan:
[Poll #1081319]
Thank you for your time.
Did you get it?

PS: What will the url be? Who is designing it?
Re: Did you get it?
Date: 1 Nov 2007 22:56 (UTC)The answers are there, I can see them. This method of polling keeps the privacy as mentioned above.
I'm not revealing the URL just yet as right now there is nothing uploaded but a placeholder page there and ACME wants to look over the final design before going public with it. I don't yet even have a custom page for handling 404 errors. Though hopefully such a page would be seen by those determined to see it.
So far, I am. It's one of those things where a fellow suggests an idea and the response is "Great idea. Go do it." I expect I'll need a bit of help with some of the graphical stuff, but right now I'm concentrating on the content.

Date: 2 Nov 2007 03:06 (UTC)Certainly if you have more questions, ask them. So far nobody has submitted any questions in the second poll, although one question might belong there.
You can send the questions to Vakko via e-mail and he'll get them to me. ACME hasn't set up my e-mail address yet.
