There was (and still is) a good soaking rain this morning. We could use it, as things were approaching drought. Other areas were already there. The rain also means that a front has finally passed and hopefully there will be cooler weather after this. I don't expect it to be cool as such, just not quite so insanely hot. That was getting rather tiresome.
