Nope. Carrots, while they are orange, are not yuck, but yum. Yams, or sweet potatoes, or whatever name they're going by just now are also orange, but not yummy.
Not whirled peas. Not mashed peas. Not strained peas. Not split peas. Not whole peas. Not cooked peas. Not raw peas. Not sweet peas. Not snow peas. Not black-eyed peas, even if they are not really peas.
For peas, you sees, causes me unease. Their odor (p-u, oh geeze!) is one reminiscent of disease. Things peasy mke me queasy. So, please, don't tease, and never, ever afflict me with peas.
Would you eat them in a tram? Would you eat them with a clam? Would you eat them at the Faire? Or in Brainerd or Eau Claire? Would you eat them in a Saab? At a Burger King with Bob? Would you eat them on a roll? Orbiting a big black hole?
