Subaru's TV ad for the Tribeca is irritating. It shows competing vehicles falling apart or crumbling as the thing passes them, while Dust in the Wind makes up the audio. Sometime in the future I expect I'll see a Tribeca rusting and falling apart and I'll probably be far too amused by that as I think it a fitting demise after that wretched commercial. For now, I have to settle for exercising the mute button.

I was wondering what the results would be. Anyone with an LJ account could say anything, but only I could see what was said. The results have been interesting. As of the writing of this post, only folks on LJ friends list have said anything. Only one person asked in a followup about what was going on.
A couple folks treated it as a fill in the blank of "Experimental _______." (The two answers for this were: aircraft and film. The word "Experimental" was there as LJ wouldn't let me post a truly blank poll. Perhaps I should have used a series of underscores.
The rest of the responses were quips or non-sequiturs (how could they not be non-sequiturs?):
ooh shiny ;)

Silliness and happiness abound!
polecat
I'm reminded of the "Farm of the Future" cartoon where some things didn't work out. "We crossed a cat with a ten-foot pole... and got a ten-foot polecat." A polecat is completely different from a pull-cat which is a feline that can work in harness.
coyote-compatible
If Wile E. is any indication, everything that might be coyote-compatible is extremely experimental.
Tempting but I don't have much time :(
I can but wonder what would have happened had someone had time.

Fortunately, the poll was started on a Wednesday.

Circumstancial
The circumstance was an experiment, so someone observed.
Other than "Chicken?" there were no questions submitted.
Not moose, mousse.
18 August 2005 20:00There is an infamous song, "The Moose Song" that, uh, isn't for the most polite of company. It is somewhat popular, however. A while I back I heard a version that was funny because it wasn't the "Moose Song" but a rather more general audience tune, "The Mousse Song."
