Today on the drive back from lunch, the car's odometer turned 100,000 miles.

And how many unscheduled trips to the mechanic?

Well, there was that one visit to deal with a leaky tire, but I don't think that really counts.

I'm catching up. I've gone from 75,000 miles at the end of January to about 84,000 miles at the end of June; five short months I've gone 9,000 miles. Usually in a year I go closer to 13,000 total, so I'm going to blow way past that this year. c.c

Bleh, the odometer is WAY off, considering that we're flying through space at thousands of miles per second.

So it reads relative rather than absolute.

How would an absolute odometer even be possible?

Doubly evil
