A: Og Vorbis, maniac caveman. No, not really. It's not a big leap to see animals, including humans, nursing their young and figuring that it might be worthwhile to try to get sustenance from an animal without having to slaughter it first.

A: Og Theora, maniac cavewoman. No, not really. But someone, probably many someones, likely saw animal predation of nests and figured out that eggs were edible.
