vakkotaurEvidently the debate is on, the IP candidate is not included, and in protest, Jesse has named Wellstone's immediate successor just as the debate was starting. The new senator: Dean Barkley. He is (was?) director of Minnesota Planning and was a name in the MN Reform Party before it was screwed up.
Not sure what his exact leanings and such are, but I suspect the lame duck session of the senate ain't gonna be dull.
