Ow.

Not that the WB, er, WC, er, CW has been worth watching for some time, but "there's always another bottom below" as a song I once heard goes. There is some good, if sorely overdue, news: Pokemon will be gone from KWB, er, "Kids WB on the CW." But that's about it. The maybe not too bad, but don't count on it being good news is that there will be Tom & Jerry. New Tom & Jerry, but at least (allegedly) in the old, original antagonistic style.

Now the big news. I can't describe the horror. It's not just the return of Scooby-Doo. It's not even that it's yet another incarnation of Scooby-Doo cartoon. It's.. it's.. Oh here:

In the new cartoon, Shaggy and Scooby live in the 'bling'd-out mansion' (The WB's words, not mine) of Shaggy's Uncle Albert. They still have the Mystery Machine, but it can now transform into one of a number of transportation modes. Scooby Snacks are still available, but they are now infused with nano-technology that allows Scooby to fly or turn into a giant robot. Their mission is to keep the Scooby Snacks away from those who would use them for evil.
