vakkotaurLiveJournal is selling permanent accounts until around midnight EDT (or is it EST?) tonight. Details can be found here in the last couple articles. Summary: You have until midnight Eastern Time tonight to pay $150 and for that you get a paid account, with all the paid account features, that you won't need to renew. Also, the permanent account allows up to 100 user icons, so most folks won't be running out of icon-space. LiveJournal doesn't sell permanent accounts very often. That last time was about two years ago, if I recall correctly.
If you have a paid account and get a permanent account, the remaining paid time can be transfered to another user.
