So help me, the sign did look sleazy. I have been to a Waffle House. jmaynard exposed (and I think that is the correct term) me to it just I'd know what someone was talking about. I was impressed but not in a good way.

We have a mutual friend who loves the place... I've tried... TWICE I've tried (I believe in second chances)... I have freightening tales from both times... and no great burning desire to try again.

I don't drink that much, Jugular. Certainly not so much that I'd want to go into a Waffle House again, and not so much that Furs With Alcohol seems like a good idea to me.

I took Paul to a Waffle House while we were in Houston last December. I considered it a necessary part of his education.

Can't see the diary entry (my DNS now completely refuses to know about anything that isn't .com -- it fails on .net, .org, .jp, .uk and who knows what all else), but gah!

I visited my brother in Georgia back in 1990, and could not believe how often one sees a freakin' Waffle House. Nobody told me about this; I just noticed. I ended up taking a picture of one of the damn signs, to document it. What, are the buildings made out of kudzu??
